A
mausoleum
is a structure or building above ground used for the entombment
of human remains in crypts or niches.
The building can be an "inside or chapel mausoleum" or outdoor,
often referred to as "patio or garden crypts".
The
mausoleum crypt is the individual chamber of sufficient size
to entomb the casketed remains of a deceased person. The mausoleum
crypt is normally constructed of concrete with reinforced
steel support, and is fronted by granite or marble shutter.
